I know some of the basics like pitching and stamina are attached and throwing/catching for fielding as well as power/contact for batting, but how each of those players stack up to each other in that regard would be fun to look into.
The Kenny stuff is very interesting also, makes me wonder how the inner workings of each stat actually function. There's so many players that it's hard to properly rank all of them. Playing mostly on 2003 also doesn't give me a ton of opportunities to play with that game's exclusive pros, and I usually don't use Marty, but you are right in that I should try using them more. Like I said I'm not always super experienced with each player and Lisa often-times goes under my radar. Unless, of course, her teams color is pink. It's arguable someone like Amir belongs higher but Amir feels pretty weak when batting unless he's with Achmed, in which you're going to run a different pitcher for your team anyway.įair criticism on Marty and Lisa by the way. In Backyard Baseball 2001 & 2003, the only thing Maria wears that matches the team color is her hat and shirt. Angela being that high is definitely a normie pick but I personally think it's reasonable to have her in S tier since as far as offense goes she's actually not too shabby unlike most other pitchers in the game and realistically at least one of the 10/10 pitchers has to be S tier (Curt probably could've been it if Angela's hitting sucked tbh).
