It says its "connected" (see picture) but nothing moves. The Skywatcher driver works with my mount, at least that's what it said on the Skywatcher website where I got the driver. There is an ASCOM driver for Skywatcher that you can download Select ASCOM and then in the ASCOM Telescope Chooser, Celestron Telescope Driver, then set the properties. You can track artificial satellites and see a lot of incredible things at the sky. You just need to download the app, point the camera at the sky and enjoy all the info that you can get. It displays stars, constellations, planets, nebulae and others things like ground, landscape, atmosphere, etc. With this app, you’re able to easily identify what you’re looking up at the sky like constellations, stars, comets, satellites and more.
Stellarium renders 3D photo-realistic skies in real time with OpenGL. You could also try using the ASCOM option. A planetarium software that shows a 3D simulation of the night sky. It simply displays a list of mounts compatible with your having checked "Stellarium Directly Through a Serial Port"Īssuming that you have a Skywatcher/Synta/Celestron made mount one of the models listed might work. Stellarium does not "recognize" your mount. In one place you say Skyview Pro which is not a go-to mount and in your image you show that you selected Skywatcher SynScan (v3) from the drop-down list. I am not clear as to which mount you have.
